This beautiful wedding took place at the always-incredibleFour Seasons Resort. The day wasperfect. It rained most of the daybut the sun came out right at the right times. Not only did it come out but it also decided to bring some lushwhite clouds with it, my favorite sky to shoot with, By the way. Annette was stunning I loved her dress,flowers and her soft veil. I love this couple! They are just so sweet and kind with each other it is pretty adorable towatch. Megan wanted a vintage feel for her shoot, somethingrusticish (not sure that’s a word) and vintagey (this too). So for the location we picked down townGilbert. I think the trees and bricklent itself to the vibe we were going for. The day started out really wet and rainy so I was a littlescared that we would get rained out but the rain held off long enough for us tograb some great shots. I cannotwait for their AMAZING wedding in Payson; I know it is going to be gorgeous!

Richie Turns 4!

This AMAZING superhero/swim party was for one cute miniature dude. Little Richie turned 4. He has the most energy of any 4 year old I have ever met in my life. He was for sure the life of the party. At one point he had asked me to put down my camera so I could sword fight with him, Love that! Eventology was the creative mind behind this fantastic party. Their attention to detail is crazy I always get so excited when I get to work with them. Happy birthday little man I hope being 4 is SUPER!

Erin & Richard are Engaged

This delightful couple is Erin & Richard. They are having a hippie chic wedding ata private Arizona residence this November and I am excited to be apart of theirBIG day. Erin is the co-owner ofthe always-fabulous eventologyevents. She loves earthy style and amazing details, so of course when we discussedideas for her engagement session she wanted something fun and unique. We started the shoot at the downtown phoenix farmers market, (ifyou have never been to the market before then you seriously should go buy abunch of amazing vegetables and corky knickknacks and then go have breakfast atthe always yummy Matts Big Breakfast across the street) then we went and had acoffee, hopped on over to Jackson Street and finished up at Papago park. I might say, one very busy but successfulshoot.

One thing that made this shoot so fun was the variety oflocations and looks Erin had going on. Here are a few tips for all you lovelybrides out there planning your shoot, pick a couple locations, do somethingcasual and dressy? Why not bring 2 or 3 outfit changes. Mix it up a bit, have a cup of coffee,ride a bike, go on a paddleboat the skies the limit. Most importantly have fun with it!

I feel very lucky that I was able to photograph little Henry James Baldwin birth. It was pretty amazing. Sara was in labor for about 15 hours and then had to have a c-section, I was there every step of the way and I truly witnessed a miracle. Olives 1st Birthday

Wow! Has it really been a year? I cannot believe my baby is one. On one hand I am over the moon that she is one and on the other hand it just about breaks my heart. We LOVE and enjoy her so much, she has the best personality! She is such a happy girl she giggles all day; I think her giggle is my favorite sound in the whole world! When planning her big day I of course went all out! I decided to give her an owl themed party. One I adore owls and two so does she. The day was a complete success; Olive had a blast and loved having lots of friends and family there to welcome her into toddlerhood.

I LOVE Easter! It is quickly becoming one of my favorite holidays. I love the colors, dyeing eggs, candy, bunnies, Easter egg hunts and Janie and Jacks Easter dresses. This was an extra special Easter because it was Miss Olives first, I think she makes everything more enjoyable.
